Success for the not so good

Over the past two weeks one team has done very good when in all honesty everyone knows they will fail. The Detroit Lions are running on hope. Hope that they can get lucky enough to score a bunch of points every week. They have an awesome passing game, yes I know. But what else do they have that will get them through the year. Nothing, nothing at all. They have a better O-Line then last year but that’s not saying anything at all, they were terrible last year. Tatum Bell is going nowhere, and it’s only a matter of time tell Jon Kitna starts throwing picks. They are 2-0 but against who, The Oakland Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings? Come on!

Defense is the key to them having an awful season. Lamont Jordan ran for 70 yards and a touchdown against them on 16 carries. Josh McCown threw for over 300 yards and two touch downs and we are talking about the Oakland Raiders. In my opinion the worst team in the league. This was the easy part it doesn’t get any better than that. The fun and games are over. Next week they play at Philadelphia, then they host Chicago, and then at Washington. They will end up losing all of those games in my opinion and by their bye week. They will have a losing record. It’s sunny in Detroit right now but at the end of the season, there will be a huge rain cloud over the Motor City.
